Seussical Auditions
GAA's 2020 Musical will be Seussical the Musical. The celebrated books by Dr. Seuss have been turned into an exciting musical for the whole family.Auditions will be held on January 8th from 5pm-8pm. Panto trip
Our very own Steve is once again treading the boards of Hamilton Townhouse as Widow Twankey in Aladdin and we are going to see it! The trip on Sunday 8th December includes transportation to and from GAA and the ticket for the show. The cost is £18. There are only 37 spaces to get your name down quick!

Beauty and the Baltic Beast
It's nearly panto season and the year GAA will be doing Beauty and the Baltic Beast, written by Fallon and Bronagh Docherty. Tickets are on sale now! 20th-24th December. Panto is always a sell out, so grab your tickets now!

GAALLOWEEN is back! Friday 1st November, all students aged 8-18 get yourself along to GAA for a spooky night of dancing, games, costume parade and more! Only £5.

RMPSILOVEYOU takes you inside the brains of young people who all want the same thing at the end of the day - acceptance, relief, love, and to pass goddamn R.E. How hard could it be? RMPSILOVEYOU is an original piece of writing by GAA students, Fallon Docherty, Finn Loveman and Milly Sweeney. Friday 4th/Saturday 5th October.

The senior musical theatre technique class presents ‘Purpose’ on the 8th and 9th September at the Wild Cabaret. Tickets at £10 can be purchased in the GAA office. Get your tickets now for a night of cabaret.

Oscars 2019
It's nearly that time of year again…The Oscars! This year our theme is ‘icons’ so get ready for a night of awards, glamour and entertainment. Friday 30th August at the national piping centre. 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Tickets can be purchased in the GAA office now!

Shakespeare Auditions
Our next acting rep season is fast approaching and we will be doing a Shakespeare block. 'Two households, both alike in dignity' Romeo and Juliet take to the GAA stage in February 2020. Come along and audition to be part of Shakespeare’s classic on Thursday 15th August. For ages 14-18. Fancy yourself as a lover, a player or a fairy? Come along to the workshop audition for this enchanting comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream on Thursday 22nd of August 2019 from 5pm-8pm. For ages 10-14 Auditions can be booked through info@glasgowactingacademy.org or sign up at the front desk.

Senior MT
Our senior musical theatre students were invited to perform at Race For Life and it's safe to say they did a wonderful job.

We are extremely excited to announce that Glasgow Acting Academy SCIO have been invited to perform ‘Chaos’ by Laura Lomas as part of the National Theatre New Connections 2019 Festival at the Dorfman Theatre in London!! After such a successful home run at GAA and an amazing performance at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh, the hard work of the incredibly talented cast and creative team has paid off! Out of over 300 productions across the United Kingdom, Glasgow Acting Academy SCIO is 1 of 10 young companies to be performing at the festival! We are extremely proud of and overwhelmed by the incredible feedback received from the team at the National Theatre on ‘Chaos’ and can’t wait to bring this fantastic piece of new writing back to life on Friday 28th June at the Dorfman Theatre, Lambeth- tickets are on sale from Friday 24th May from the National Theatre website- all tickets are £5. We would love to see some of you there! In preparation for the festival, a further home performance of ‘Chaos’ will take place on the 23rd June at 7pm in Glasgow Acting Academy! Come along and support this wonderful cast before they head down to the National!
