Class of Merit Auditions
Class of Merit Open Auditions – Saturday 26th April 4pm–7pm Are you ready to take your training to the next level? Our Class of Merit is designed for students looking to transition from youth theatre to further education in the performing arts. This advanced training programme prepares young performers for professional auditions and explores the work of renowned acting practitioners, both past and present. With regular performance opportunities—including NT Connections, and National Festival of Youth Theatre—this class has seen students take the stage at incredible venues like the National Theatre's Dorfman Theatre in London. Former students have gone on to train at RCS, LAMDA, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Bristol Old Vic, NClan Arts, and the University of Oxford. The Gorbals Vampire
Back in 1954, whispers echoed through the playgrounds of the Gorbals, weaving tales of a man with iron teeth who had allegedly abducted and consumed two local young boys. The community was gripped by fear and speculation until one fateful night in late September when hundreds of children, aged 4 to 14, gathered at the Southern Necropolis. Armed with whatever makeshift weapons they could find; they embarked on a daring mission to hunt down and vanquish the infamous Gorbals Vampire. Please note due to the language in this production there is an age guideline of 14+
