Panto auditions are coming soon and this year Glasgow Acting Academy will be performing….. Pinocchio’s Pantomonium!! It’s been 3 years since we have been able to do a classic GAA Christmas Panto and we are ready for it - oh yes we are! GAAFEST
Have a peak behind the curtain. We’ve seen our students perform in shows like Romeo and Juliet and The Addam's Family but what do they get up to in their weekly acting and musical theatre technique class? Come along to the very first GAAFEST on the 7th of May to see what the kids have been working on in their classes. Each class will be performing an original piece of theatre created by the GAA students and tutors. GAAFEST gives family members the chance to see some of the students work, take a look around GAA, chat with the staff members and get a feel for what we do here.

We are getting our kilts and walking boots out once again to raise funds for GAA and we want you to come with us! How do you register for the Kiltwalk? 6 Feet Under Easter School
6 Feet Under’ by @gaacademy students Evan and Rowan is a new musical that blends the real world with the afterlife. Ghost teenager Mason leaves his afterlife graveyard village to venture to the human world to find his twin sister Mabel. A story told through original songs about found family, love and ghost life. This week is for ages 13-18 and will take place from the 11th-15th April (excluding Wednesday). A performance of 6 Feet Under will be held at GAA on the Friday. A Series of Unfortunate Events Easter School
Explore Lemony Snickets eccentric characters in A Series of Unfortunate Events this Easter. Get creative, imaginative and wacky with this acting week at GAA from the 4th-8th of April (excluding Wednesday). This week is for ages 8-12 and will culminate with a performance. Hospital Food
Ages 14 - 18 Audition / Saturday 19th February Hospital Food, which runs as a One Act play, introduces us to ten young cancer patients all receiving conventional treatments for their differing cancers whilst all at different stages of progression. There is one place that they can all meet without the intrusion of the prying, over concerned eyes and ears of adults, doctors and nurses, a place where they can discuss their illness, their thoughts and fears and know that whatever is said there will stay there. Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations
Ages 10 - 14 Audition / Thursday 17th February Ernie’s incredible imagination is alarming his parents. They go to the doctor in search of a cure. Once they’re there, they discover Ernie’s ‘illucinations’ are more powerful than they realised. Everything Ernie imagines – from secret agents to a boxing granny – becomes real.
